There has been a lot of updates already, you can not get any updates automatically via OTA or Kies simply because your outside Germany. The only option you have is to manually install the latest firmware using odin.
ReplyDeleteThat means I have to root my phone? Anyways Thanks a lot DroidAngel. I appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteNo need to root..
ReplyDeleteAccording to Vodafone (Germany), no updates have been released yet after ICS 4.0.3 for SGN GT-7000. ICS 4.0.4 is still on test. Up to now, there has been no specific date to release the new update.
ReplyDeleteHi Semic, this is not for Vodafone carrier branded Galaxy note firmware update.
ReplyDeleteThis update is for unbranded,SIM-Free or Unlocked Galaxy Note GT-N7000.
In fact, there is a newer update for this one see: n7000xxlrt
AFAIK since posting so many updates, Branded variants updates seems always left behind than the unbranded ones.
Oh! Okey.. Thanks. heheh Actually I am very new to Android.
