If you already have your Galaxy s3 device updated, just let anyone knows how's this latest firmware performs'. Just leave anything like bug fixes, new features,  issues etc. on our comment form below.  Enjoy!

  1. having issues with OTA...keeps getting error message telling me to go through kies but i cant connect to kies using usb...

  2. it is weird that this update is dated april 2012 and just got it last 2 weeks..
4.1 is out since a month.. i cant even imagine how long before we got that one!

  3. didnt fully reboot after odin shows PASS! freezes at samsung start screen. tried rebooting, reinserting the battery and same result. should i try to flash again via odin?

  4. Just simply perform factory reset then it will reboot normally., it freezes for some reason that the system cache is not fully wipe.

  5. So I installed what I thought was the WIND Mobile (GLW) version when unrooting and when I plugged the device in to kies to see if there had been a 4.1 update pushed out that way yet it actually said that I had a (VTR) Videotron version. Will this affect everything, and should I do a wipe again and reinstall the correct firmware or will it do nothing different?

  6. Actually, its the same thing, all you get are the default bloatwares - apps, logo from Videotron.. Just restore VTR default firmware to get rid of any data connection issues.

  7. So before I had to flash this with ODIN and then do a factory reset in the stock recovery to make it all function properly. If I were to reflash the proper GLW version would I need to do another wipe? Or would it be able to switch over to the GLW firmware without deleting all of my applications and application data??
    Sorry for all the questions!
The VTR version is working flawlessly (say for a few hiccups but I doubt that is their fault) I am just more concerned about when and from who I will get OTA updates for software!

  8. Wipe data is optional... You can only do reset if you'll experience lag issues after flashing.
