L700GA02 Sprint Galaxy Nexus 4.2.1 Update Now Live via OTA Update

Software build L700GA02 is latest Sprint Galaxy Nexus software update now officially rolls out via OTA.  The new update is now packed in Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean and brings a camera enhancement (360-degree panorama mode) and other interesting goodies.

Some advance user already take advantage of getting this update earlier ahead before Sprint officially announced about this update, since this software build number JOP40D.L700GA02 has been leaked a few days ago.  So, I think this is not a big  surprise anymore to those who've already managed to flash the leaked version.

Verizon Galaxy Nexus users may wait for a while since this update is only made available for Sprint Galaxy Nexus at this point.

  • Redesigned camera interface and new Photo Sphere feature (a 360-degree panorama mode)

  • Notifications Shade accessible by swiping top screen edge downwards; swipe down with two fingers to view notifications; tap the notification to expand and take action on it.

  • Lockscreen widgets to access certain apps without unlocking the screen; sidescroll right for camera or left for other widgets (time and weather, gmail, etc.)
