Just got it, but I dont notice anything different. I also got updates for most of Samsung preloaded stuff ie; allshare, Kies air.
ReplyDeleteI got mine too, but no huge differences from UCDLJA. Where's the 4.1.2, c'mon Tmo. What's the use of this update for anyway?
ReplyDeleteDidn't get any email but I got it early this morning. Geez.. I thought it was 4.1.2
ReplyDeleteI just got mine. I don't notice anything new yet anyway. Like the others I got updates for the preloaded stuff as well. Hopefully we will get the 4.1.2 sooner than later... But if not I still own the best phone on the planet (at this time)
ReplyDeleteSend us the 4.1.2 please
ReplyDeleteThis update took away the LTE from Network modes, that is the ONLY thing I saw different. What does that tell you??
ReplyDeleteDaniel,
ReplyDeleteYou're absolutely right! It did take away the LTE from Network modes setting. Wow, was the network modes one of the first things you checked after the update?
Hello everybody!
ReplyDeleteI need to install more languages on my phone T-999, (a scandinavian language). my question is, there is a way for doing these or not? i bought the phone in the USA but now I live in norway. Some one can help please me with this...alexjmadrid@yahoo.com
just like all the other posts, I don't mean to complain. ..I do have the best phone s3! Come on Samsung. ..we in the USA want 4.1.2 or better!
ReplyDeleteI just did the update via Kies software on pc, and also noticed as well LTE has been removed from the network modes. Seems Suspicious after it has been announced new Samsung s3 with LTE will be sold prior to s4.
ReplyDeleteIf they intentionally removed the LTE capability, it's not a problem at all.. You can still restore back to previous build UVDLJA.
ReplyDeleteYou can download an app "set locale and language". You can find it in play store. I still use this app in my T-999.
ReplyDeleteI got the update over a month ago. well before the Jan 31st so called release date. I just looked at the update country release date and once again the USA and a small handful of other tiny countries are about the only ones that do not have the 4.1.2 update as of the 11th of Feb. Once again, we USA customers have to wait it out while Myanmar enjoys the update. Way to go US Carries.
ReplyDeleteI havent noticed anything different regarding this update, besides the LTE being gone from the network mode. I hope that doesnt mean we are screwed out of being on LTE when it is finally activated. Whats everyone else's take on this?
ReplyDeletemorelocale 2 install googleplay store
